Why is composable so huge? Because it’s a thing of beauty. Today and forever, it’s built to delicately resolve the need for continuous digital transformation.
Passionate about crafting products enabling maximum B2B business longevity in the long run, Amitech Group has delivered its genius brainchild, eCommerce Accelerator. Headaches are over—get a full-blown marketplace in a day!
“This project has a very special story to it. We dare think of it as our greatest achievement to the moment, given its large promise for a breakthrough.”
PROJECT BACKGROUND
Robust B2B functionality wanted
Just 15% of eCommerce acceleration platforms enable consistent B2B functionality, which drags the overall business segment miles behind.
eCommerce market insiders are in search of prebuilt B2B/B2C tools to quickly roll out composable, seamlessly scalable marketplace architectures.
OBJECTIVES
Though we already had an earlier version of our in-house built eCommerce accelerator product, we kept on upgrading it to reach incomparable performance.
Thus, the team opted for rebuilding the frontend upon Qwik, an emerging framework redefining the market with its outstanding speed and efficiency.
CHALLENGE
Microservices implementation
Provided that the team was to break the product down into microservices, the toughest routines were closely associated with this job:
Scripts failed to function within dynamic lazy-loadable MFEs (micro-frontends), so we’ve built dedicated logic to get them up and running.
Issues with local environments took in-depth data analysis and project bundling fixes.
App routing wasn’t ideal upon MFE deployment due to expensive network calls. To avoid them, we’ve refactored the app structure and refined bundling.
Global styles and fonts glitched, with each MFE trying to use its own ones. This made us introduce additional logic to rule that out.
Cookies, states, and permissions went out of sync. To share them across the MFEs, we’ve created a notification mechanism out of the browser APIs.
SEO functionality took adjustments. The team has analyzed the product’s look and feel while adapting the content to the user and the bot perspectives.
Static type checks were required across different microservices, so we’ve added them to guarantee the apps share the same API.
SOLUTION
No hassle, no code
INTEGRATIONS
Ensure unrivaled system fault tolerance, scalability, and uptime. Customize design and functionality, and improve SEO.
Render content like a pro while shipping dynamic and flexible multichannel experiences with minimized effort.
ENGINEERING STACK
TECH UNDER THE HOOD
TypeScript
Qwik, Hono, Builder.io
Elasticsearch
“We’ve employed an edge-optimized Qwik framework to ensure extreme app performance and client-side responsiveness. With the tech’s inherent resumability, it allows to postpone hydration while avoiding excessive logic downloads.
Besides automating lazy-loading, the HTML-first framework drives efficiency by embedding itself without iframes and module federation in any existing app.”
FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS
- Microfrontends: Make the app pages unique and extremely fast while introducing a desired combination of static and dynamic blocks.
- Microservices: Ensure vendor independence: switch between eCommerce backend providers or run on a proprietary one without compromising performance.
- Drag-and-drop page builder: Create customized web pages with prebuilt tools while following comprehensive brand guidelines—no engineering effort is required.
- Feature toggles: Quickly turn functionality on and off upon demand to modify system behavior with no need for code rebuilds.
- Custom shimmers: Provide an app-like experience, increase the visual appeal, and add an energetic touch to the UI.
