AC Infinity’s tech team has already launched their new BigCommerce Stencil instance, yet required external assistance to integrate it with their existing JTL Wawi ERP. Additionally, the client planned to enter the European market and thus needed to conform their sales platform to several EU-specific eCommerce and accessibility regulations.

This ensures pricing transparency and prevents artificial inflation that could otherwise distort the perceived value of discounts.
Energy label compliance
By customizing the Stencil theme deployed by the client in their BigCommerce instance, Amitech Group aligned the sales platform with the European standard of energy efficiency and sustainability.
European accessibility regulations: EAA compliance
The project involved rebuilding code to resolve frontend operational issues and improve accessibility across key storefront areas. Upon the project’s release, the client’s sales portal meets the European Accessibility Act, providing a seamless user journey to people with disabilities.

Storefront-specific features display
To selectively display or hide region-specific features without incurring performance penalties, Amitech Group enabled multi-storefronts under a single BigCommerce account.
The team configured each storefront’s settings to ensure distinct domains, unique categories and catalogs, and customized BigCommerce Stencil themes. The specific features can now be easily enabled or disabled via the Channel Manager or storefront settings.

By establishing clear lifecycle and naming conventions, implementing progressive rollout and A/B testing, and continuously tracking performance, the team successfully introduced intuitive, well-documented toggles. We’ve also instantly removed stale flags to prevent technical debt.
